This young IT company is dominated by women and their business results are outstanding
Pontis Technology, an IT service company specializing in custom software development, founded in April 2022, recorded outstanding business results in its first year. The company primarily deals with the development, maintenance and improvement of software solutions, and in addition to ready-made solutions, they also offer their clients well-established development teams that quickly take on demanding roles in improving the clients' business.
Key positions are dominated by women
Although they have existed for just over a year, they have become an important factor and one of the most sought-after employers in the Croatian IT market, and even beyond. The numbers also support these claims. In the first 12 months of its existence, Pontis grew from a small team of dedicated individuals to a strong company of 50 professionals. This remarkable growth is a testament to the company's ability to attract top talent and create an environment that fosters personal and professional growth. It is also interesting that three out of five key positions in Pontis are occupied by women, which is not so common in the IT industry.
At Pontis, employees and their development come first. Apart from Croatia, they have employees in other European countries and one of their Croatian colleagues works remotely from Thailand. There is also a great emphasis on informal gatherings, relaxation and fun. At least once a month they organize a gathering, be it through a pub quiz or a barbecue on one of the terraces in their new office space.
This year's income has already surpassed last year's
The CEO of Pontis, Nataša Zec, singles out the employees as the company's greatest asset "The biggest measure of the company's success is the fact that not a single employee has left us in more than a year since our establishment. And we know what that means nowadays, especially in the IT industry." Of course, the fact that their employees work on interesting long-term projects also contributes to this, since Pontis’ clients come from 10 different countries on 4 different continents, from the USA, UK, Germany and Israel all the way to Australia and New Zealand.
"We try to ensure that our employees work on projects with the most modern technologies. This is the most important thing for our employees in the long term, and thus for the company itself," Zec points out. Their clients come from a variety of industries; from automotive, banking, fintech, gaming, betting, pharmaceutical and many others.
Some things are best expressed through concrete data, and the data says that the revenue of Pontis in the first quarter of 2023 has already greatly exceeded the total revenue from 2022, and they expect significant growth in the coming period.
The future is bright for Pontis Technology, and some of its goals are further expansion into the American market and a continued growth of employed experts.
